Beginnings

miri1984I'm kind of loving this journal. I think I posted one entry on my LJ site and I've been thinking about doing more, but the community there didn't really grab me and so I haven't bothered. However, I'm considering transferring my activities here completely. I'm not much for introspective writing - I tend to expend all my typing on chatting and fiction, but sometimes I think I should be writing more like this, so perhaps I'll give it a try.
I also wanted to put down in concrete that I'm DEFINITELY going to spend at least twenty minutes a day in November on NON fanfiction. I think eight months of solid, concentrated output in the fanfiction arena is enough practice. Time for me to start my original work. It never used to be difficult for me, but ten or so years of writers block was only broken by Dragon Age and I don't want to let the creative juices dry up once my two current DA fics are finished (and yes, Fractures is near finished and Shades is probably half way there).
