Learning to Draw

miri1984I know, I've probably got about a billion things I SHOULD be doing, but this has really captured me and I'm going to start trying to learn. Drawing is a bit like maths for me - it never "clicked" so I never bothered with it. Nearly all the things I've done in my life I've never had to work hard at so I figure it's time to start challenging myself.
Also, this is something I think I can do with my daughter - she loves mucking about with drawing so I figure the two of us can try to do this together.
Of course, my ulterior motive is to get to the point where I can do art for my fics. I know that's probably a couple of years away, but a girl can dream, can't she?
